Thermal Screening: What It Is and Why It Matters

Thermal screening is a check using a heat-detecting camera while your solar is running. It helps us spot parts that are getting unusually hot—something you can’t see just by looking.

Unusual heat can be an early warning sign of a loose or faulty connection. If left unattended, severe overheating can become a safety risk and, in rare cases, may lead to fire. Finding it early helps prevent bigger problems and keeps the system safe and reliable.
